  • Time commitment: 30 days
  • 5 minutes in the morning; 15-30 minutes in the evening
  • Mindfulness throughout the day

Take Action! The 3G Process

Now it's time to dig in and get started! The 3G Process focuses on three areas:

  • Gratitude
  • Growth
  • Giving

You will have daily, weekly, and end of the 30 days assignments. If you're ready to take the challenge, here is the process!

Every Day:

Every morning for the next 30 days, begin the day with a specific commitment for each of the 3 G's.

  • Gratitude: I commit to be on the lookout for feelings of gratitude throughout this day.
  • Growth: I commit to do at least one thing today that contributes to my own learning and growth, in any area of my life I want.
  • Giving: I commit to give of myself in at least one way today.

Every evening for the next 30 days, end the day by reflecting on how you experienced the commitments you made. Capture your thoughts in your journal so you'll be able to review them throughout the process ... and beyond.

Here are some "prompts" to help with your reflection process:

  • Gratitude: As I look back over the day, when did I notice feelings of gratitude?
  • Growth: As I look back over the day, how did I contribute to my own learning and growth? What did I discover about myself? What new ideas or skills did I focus on? How did I surprise myself?
  • Giving: As I look back over the day, how did I give of myself in at least one way today? How did I help someone? How did I contribute to good? How did I reach out? How did I support someone else?

Every Week:

Every week, take a block of time to invest in reflection.

  • Review your journal to recall all the experiences you've had to date.
  • Ask yourself how differently you are feeling, and how your experience of the challenge has changed.
  • Be aware of how this challenge has affected the way you face each day ... and how you are able to cope with the daily issues of life.
  • How has this process impacted your definition of each of the G's: Gratitude, Growth, and Giving.

At the end of 30 days:

Invest at least one hour to meditate and reflect on the impact of this challenge.

  • Spend time in reflective and contemplative meditation.
  • Review your journal of experiences.
  • How are you different as a result of this challenge?
  • What actions are you feeling your Higher Self is calling you to do next?
